Wong 黃定發教授 Provost and Chair Professor of Computer Science, HKBU 香港浸會大學常務副校長兼計算機科學講座教授 I am deeply honoured to be awarded the Dr. Stephen Hui Scholarships for Sports and Overseas Internship. This recognition has greatly increased my motivation to study and boosted my confidence to embrace future challenges. In addition, I am able to devote more energy and resources to my passion, dragon boating, thereby improving my skills to achieve outstanding results for the HKBU Dragon Boat Team. 我非常榮幸能夠獲得許士芬博士運動及海外實習獎學金。這份 肯定大大提高了我學習的動力，亦加強了我面對未來挑戰的信 心。此外，我能夠投放更多精力和資源到我熱愛的龍舟運動， 從而提升自身的技巧，為浸大龍舟隊爭取佳績。 Yip Chun Hei 葉俊希 Physical Education and Recreation Management 體育及康樂管理 Awardee of the Dr. Stephen Hui Scholarships for Sports and Overseas Internship 2022-2023 許士芬博士運動及海外實習獎學金 2022-2023 得獎人 Committed to conducting world-class research that extends the frontiers of knowledge and benefits the worldwide community, HKBU has achieved significant scientific breakthroughs and ground-breaking discoveries. In particular these accomplishments have been in creative media, health and drug discovery, data analytics and artificial intelligence. These successes would not have been possible without the devoted backing of our donors. In addition to supporting our scholars in their quest for research excellence through the HKBU Endowed Professorships Scheme, our donors have been instrumental in driving our cutting-edge research. Funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the University has established two new labs: (1) JC STEM Lab of ChemProbes with its focus on the development of rare earth-based molecular probes which can potentially be utilised in various diagnostic and optical imaging, and (2) JCSTEMLabofNeuronal CircuitDynamicswith its focuson transdisciplinary research in neuronal circuit dynamics with advanced neuroimaging data analysis and cutting-edge computational technologies. We are more than grateful to our donors for partnering with us in building a better world for the benefit of humankind. 浸大一直致力進行世界級的研究，以擴展知識領域，造福世界。多年來在科研上 取得了不少重大突破和開創性發現，特別是在創意媒體、健康與藥物研發、數據 分析和人工智能等領域。能夠屢創新猷，捐款人的堅實支持十分重要；他們除了 透過香港浸會大學冠名教授席計劃，支持傑出學者在研究上追求卓越外，同時亦 在推動浸大前沿研究發揮了重大作用。我們又獲得香港賽馬會慈善信託基金的大 力支持，先後成立兩個實驗室：（ 1 ）賽馬化學探針創科實驗室將研究以稀土為基 礎的分子探針，可應用於診斷光學成像，與及（ 2 ）賽馬會神經迴路動力學創科實 驗室，以先進的神經影像及數據分析進行神經迴路動力學的跨學科研究。我們非 常感謝各捐款人與我們同行，為人類創建更美好的世界。
