16 Pioneering Art-tech Development 引領藝術創意科技發展 The integration of arts and technology has become the new trend in arts and the creative industries. To further augment human creativity in the world of arts, HKBU established the School of Creative Arts in 2022. The School has a revitalised vision to nurture the future generations of creative talent for Hong Kong, thereby contributing to the city’s development as an arts hub for China and the world. The School is comprised of three units, namely the Academy of Film, the Academy of Music and the Academy of Visual Arts. By blending the University’s relevant talent and resources, the School will be a place where great minds of creative arts and technology can meet. 藝術與科技的融合已成為全球藝術發展大趨勢。為推動創意藝術發展，浸大於 2022 年成立創意藝術學院，為香 港培育新一代創意人才，並致力協助香港發展成為國家和全球性的創意藝術樞紐。新學院由三個學院組成，分 別是電影學院、音樂學院、以及視覺藝術院。透過匯聚大學相關的人才和資源，學院將成為創意藝術與科技領 域優秀人才薈萃交融之地。 The School of Creative Arts attaches great importance to transdisciplinary teaching and learning. On top of existing programmes offered by the University in the disciplines of acting, film, music and visual arts, new transdisciplinary programmes, namely the Bachelor of Arts and Science (Hons) in Arts and Technology and the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Administration (Global Entertainment), have been launched in the 2022-2023 academic year. These programmes cultivate talent who are well-versed not only in arts and culture but also in technology. Students will learn a variety of innovative technologies including extended reality, immersive media art, generative art and artificial intelligence (AI), intelligent sound and music production, and creative robotics and its applications in the real world. 創意藝術學院重視跨學科教學，除了現有提供的演技藝術、電影、音樂和視覺藝術領域的相關課程外， 於 2022-2023 學年更推出全新的跨學科課程，分別是藝術及科技文理學士（榮譽）課程及工商管理文學士（榮譽）  （全球娛樂）課程。修讀藝術及科技的學生將學習擴展實境、沉浸式媒體藝術、衍生藝術與人工智能（ AI ）、智能 聲音和音樂製作、創意機械人等創新科技，以及如何將其應用於真實世界。 Establishment of School of Creative Arts 成立創意藝術學院 Launching NewTransdisciplinary Programmes 推出跨學科新課程
