In fact, COVID-19 has encouraged the use of Chinese medicine in treating or preventing the pandemic. In 2021, HKBU was chosen as the operator of Hong Kong’s first-ever Chinese Medicine Hospital, which will undoubtedly be an important milestone in HKBU’s work in promoting Chinese medicine. I sincerely hope that with the use of advanced technology, HKBUwill make Chinese medicine shine globally. 中醫藥在全球的影響力與日俱增，新冠肺炎疫情在全球肆虐，更令世界各地愈加重視中 醫藥在治療或預防流行疾病的作用。 2021 年，浸大經過多年的努力，終於成功獲選營運 香港首間中醫醫院，標誌着浸大在推動中醫藥發展的路上跨進重要的里程。我們寄望大 學能結合新科技，讓中醫藥這文化瑰寶在環球醫學上更加發揚光大。
