3 Chairman’s Report 主席報告 Full support for the development of the Chinese Medicine Hospital First of all, HKBU was selected by the HKSAR Government to be the contractor for the service deed of Hong Kong’s first-ever Chinese Medicine Hospital (CMH), a dream our School of Chinese Medicine has cherished in the past two decades. The preparatory work is now progressing at full speed, the goal being to build a fully smart hospital that provides Chinese medicine service in six specialised areas. The construction of the CMH is expected to be completed in 2025. Apart from bringing the Chinese medicine service in Hong Kong to a higher level, this emblematic initiative will establish an international clinical study reporting standard, thereby extending the influence of Chinese medicine research to the whole world. The CMH project is also a significant endeavour to which the HKBU Foundation will devote its full support in the coming years. As soon as the news was announced that HKBU had become the operator of the CMH, the Secretariat of the HKBU Foundation received many positive responses from our donors in support of the University’s clinical research in Chinese medicine. They included the Chan Hon Yin Couple Charity Trust, the Fong’s Family Foundation, the Hong Kong Panda Education Foundation, the Lippo Group, Mr. and Mrs. Poon Kei Chak, the Simon Suen Foundation, Thomas H.C. Cheung Foundation Limited and the Vincent and Lily Woo Foundation. Their generosity will definitely facilitate our innovative cross-disciplinary research as well as the application of artificial intelligence in the field of Chinese medicine, thereby integrating Chinese medicine into the international medical system. 全力支持中醫醫院發展 首先，中醫 學院 20 年來一直倡議的夢想終於 實現，浸大獲政府挑選營運本港首間中醫醫 院，各項的籌備工作正進展得如火如荼，目標 是建立一所集六大專科、配以數據化及科技化 的智能中醫醫院，預計於 2025 年落成。事實 上，中醫醫院這項標誌性的項目，除了有助提 升本地中醫醫療服務水平外，更會建立臨床研 究報告的國際規範，把中醫 研究的影響力伸 展至全球，這正是香港浸會大學基金未來重點 支援浸大發展的重要項目之一。 中醫醫院獲浸大營運的消息甫出，香港浸會 大學基金秘書處隨即收到不少積極回響，包括  陳漢賢伉儷慈善信託基金、方潤華基金、  香港熊貓教育基金、力寶集團、潘機澤伉儷、  孫少文基金會、張煊昌基金有限公司、吳文政  王月娥基金會都率先表示樂意捐資支持本校 的中醫 臨床研究工作，冀盼結合浸大各項  尖端、嶄新的跨領域研究，融合新科技與人工 智能，把中醫 這項中國文化瑰寶提升至全球 醫學的更高層次。
