University’s Recent Developments 大學最新發展 21 Funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the Department of Marketing at HKBU organised the Jockey Club Responsible Consumption Programme. The programme included an educational TV series and a Secondary School Marketing Contest 2021, which helped to promote sustainable fashion and raise awareness of responsible consumption among teenagers. 獲香港賽馬會慈善信託基金支持,浸大工商管理學院市場 學系主辦的「賽馬會責任消『廢』計劃」分別製作電視節目 及舉辦全港中學生市場推廣大賽 2021 總決賽,藉此向青少 年推廣可持續時裝及負責任消費的概念。 Sponsored by Providence Foundation Limited, the Undergraduate Halls organised the Community Engagement Organisers: Positive Ageing Learners Programme (CEOs- PAL) in 2021, with nearly 50 students and 30 elderly joining the Programme. Prior to reaching out to the socially inactive elderly, students are engaged with a series of activities including health management training, de-stressing exercises as well as art and music jamming and workshops, to provide care and support. 獲悟宿基金會有限公司慷慨支持,本科生舍堂於 2021 年間 舉辦了「老」吾老計劃,近 50 位學生與 30 位「老友記」一同 參與健康管理培訓、減壓運動及藝術與音樂的工作坊,其 後會探訪隱蔽長者,向他們送上關懷。 Sponsored by the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, HKBU and the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council launched the three-year “BOC-HKBU Chinese Medicine Community Stroke Prevention and Rehabilitation Scheme”. This provides free Chinese medicine rehabilitation treatments to 500 eligible low-income stroke patients, and also offers free preventive treatments and tracking assessments to 1,200 people who have a medium to high risk of suffering a stroke. 獲中國銀行(香港)有限公司慷慨捐助,浸大及香港聖公會 福利協會推行為期三年的「中銀—浸大中醫社區中風預防 及康復計劃」,為 500 名合資格的低收入中風人士,提供免 費的中醫康復治療,以及為 1,200 名中風的高風險人士,提 供免費預防治療及追蹤評估。 With the support of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the Jockey Club Mus-Fit Action project has helped middle-aged and older people to adopt healthy lifestyles. The project was launched by the Dr. Stephen Hui Research Centre for Physical Recreation and Wellness at HKBU in collaboration with the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at CUHK. The project has offered more than 260 exercise classes to around 2,500 people aged 50 or above. 獲香港賽馬會慈善信託基金支持,浸大許士芬博士體康  研究中心與香港中文大學矯形外科及創傷學系推行「賽馬  會『肌』不可失大行動」,為約 2,500 名 50 歲或以上人士,  提供超過 260 個運動課程,有效促進中年人士及長者健康的 生活模式。 Community Engagement 社會服務
