University’s Recent Developments 大學最新發展 19 Sponsored by the Tin Ka Ping Foundation, the Department of History and the Language Centre offered the course “Implementation of Service-Learning Engagement through Chinese Storytelling and Writing”, in which students conducted an oral history project and interviewed elderly residents in Wah Fu and Wong Tai Sin. They found the course not only enhanced their storytelling skills but also enriched their understanding of the transformations of the communities. 獲田家炳基金會贊助，歷史學系和語言中心合辦「服務學 習與實踐：香港『老故事』書寫」課程，讓學生進行口述歷 史項目，訪問華富和黃大仙區的長者。課程不但提高了學 生的說故事技巧，亦讓他們深入認識兩個社區在數十年間 的變化。 HKBU signed an MOU and an Undergraduate Student Exchange Agreement with Xiamen University to strengthen all-round exchange and collaboration initiatives in teaching and learning, research as well as training talent. The two universities will also share resources in several academic areas. In addition, HKBU and Tsinghua University jointly established the Tsinghua-HKBU AI Laboratory for Creative Arts to facilitate interdisciplinary interactions. 浸大與廈門大學簽署《合作意向書》及《本科生交換計劃協 議書》，以加強雙方在教學、科研和人才培養等方面的全方 位交流合作，並在多個領域共享資源。另外，浸大亦與清華 大學合作成立人工智能創意藝術實驗室，促進跨學科互動。 HKBU hosted the Quacquarelli Symonds Asia-Pacific Professional Leaders in Education 2021 Conference. The conference featured more than 80 distinguished speakers from world-leading universities and organisations, and the programme included keynote speeches, debates, panel discussions and case studies that reflect the opportunities and trends in education in the Asia-Pacific region. 浸大承辦 2021 年 QS APPLE 教育專業領袖年會，會議有  超過 80 名來自世界頂尖大學及機構的傑出講者，參與主題 演講、辯論、專題討論及個案研究，剖析亞太區教育的機 遇和趨勢。 HKBU held the Next-Generation Art Technologies Forum, bringing together experts from industry, academia and the Government to discuss the fusion of science, technology and art, and the opportunities opened up by the new era of Art Tech. The Forum was co-organised by the Cameron Pace Group – China, a 3D technology and production company led by renowned movie director James Cameron; the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne of Switzerland; and the School of Creative Media at the City University of Hong Kong. 浸大舉辦「新一代藝術科技論壇」，匯聚業界專家、學者及 政府代表，探討科學、科技與藝術的融合，以及藝術科技新 時代帶來的機遇。論壇合辦機構包括由著名導演詹姆斯·卡 梅隆領導的三維科技及製作公司卡梅隆佩斯（中國）集團、 瑞士洛桑聯邦理工學院、以及香港城巿大學創意媒體學院。 QualityTeaching and Learning 優質教與學
