Impact of Giving 捐獻的力量 13 I had never thought of receiving a scholarship as there are so many talents at HKBU. Thank you for the donor’s generosity, which recognises my efforts and relieves my financial burden. The scholarship not only further motivates me to work harder and aim higher, it also allows me to devote more time to extra-curricular activities. Lai Dean of Social Sciences and Chair Professor in Social Work, HKBU 黎永亮教授 香港浸會大學社會科學院院長及社會工作系講座教授 The Faculty of Social Sciences is celebrating its Golden Jubilee Anniversary in 2021. Over the years, the Faculty has evolved vigorously to reach its current strength, emphasising both teaching and research and nurturing more than 30,000 graduates. While embracing multiple disciplines, it has established a wide array of research and service centres that focus on studying interaction between people and society and serving the community with impactful research.
