Impact of Giving 捐獻的力量 11 School of Business: 65th AnniversaryWebsite https://65-bus.hkbu.edu.hk For 65 years, students at the School of Business have gained not only academic knowledge but also life-changing experiences through a wide array of out-of-classroom activities. The benefaction of our supporters has helped the School provide our students with scholarships and exchange programmes to explore the world. Students even have the opportunity to practise what they have learned by investing with real money. Most importantly, our students have gone on to give back to society through their professional and voluntary activities. I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to those who have devoted their invaluable time, talent and resources to help us make this happen. 65 年來，工商管理學院的學生不僅獲得專業的學術知識，還透過多元 的課外活動來豐富人生閱歷。承蒙各大學支持者的襄助，學院提供了 多項獎學金及交流機會，助學生探索世界；更有項目讓學生直接在真 實市場中投資，實踐所學。最重要的是，我們培育學生抱有服務社會 的心志，並透過其專業，回饋社會。我衷心感謝您們所付出的寶貴時 間、心力和資源，讓這些得以成真。 My body will never fully recover. Yet to me, the soul is the essence of a person. To go further, one has to set a clear goal. With the generous support of the Lee Hysan Foundation, and the start-up support of Baptist University TSSSU fund, my team and I have successfully developed a new voice-controlled input software called “CP2Joy” to substitute for the functions of a traditional keyboard and mouse. This invention can benefit people with disabilities in using computers with higher efficiency. The speech recognition part can also benefit ethnic minority students to learn Chinese in the future. I really hope that CP2Joy can bring joy to all who want to learn better. 我雖然擁有一個永遠不能康復的身軀，但一個人最重要的甚麼？是身 體嗎？不，是精神。人生有目標，才能走得更遠。在利希慎基金及浸 大科技初創企業資助計劃的支持下，我與團隊成功研發出聲控輸入法 CP2Joy ，取代傳統的鍵盤和滑鼠，幫助殘障人士更有效地操控電腦， 提高他們的學習能力。此外，其聲控軟件亦有助少數族裔學生學習中 文。我衷心希望 CP2Joy 能為大家學習帶來方便及愉悅。 Professor Edward J.
