20 HKBU researchers have developed a COVID-19 alert system which will send a message to users through a mobile app if they and an infected person have visited the same place within a time period that gives rise to risks of exposure. 浸大的科研團隊成功研發了一套新冠病毒風險警示系 統,使用者若曾經身處確診者到訪過的同一地點,而兩 者到訪相隔的時差屬於構成風險的範圍,系統便會透過 手機應用程式發出警示。 Although face-to-face classes were suspended due to the outbreak, Mr. Ekkehard Altenburger, Assistant Professor of the Academy of Visual Arts, utilised a wide array of digital tools in his online sculpture classes to encourage students to generate new ideas at home. For example, he instructed his students to produce sculptures using their bodies, a chair and an object. Based on the model, an analysis of different work resumption plans can be carried out.
