19 Beat the Virus, BU & I 疫境 • 並肩 With the generous support of a number of donors, HKBU’s School of Chinese Medicine has distributed free Chinese Medicine Immunity Enhancement Remedy to elders, patients with chronic illnesses, and other people in need of help. Around 20,000 beneficiaries received the herbal remedy. The remedy was also offered free to frontline healthcare workers of the Hospital Authority as a token of appreciation for their efforts in fighting the outbreak. 獲多位捐款人及機構慷慨支持，浸大中醫藥學院派發 免費「浸大防感方」 予長者、長期病患者，以及其他有需要  人士，約兩萬名人士受惠。此外，大學又向醫院管理局的前線員工送贈「防感方」，感謝他們的努力。 HKBU volunteers distributed 200 litres of alcohol-based hand sanitisers , which were produced by the Department of Chemistry, to elderly people and grassroot families at the early stage of the outbreak when hand sanitisers were scarce. The initiative helped the most vulnerable in society fight against the COVID-19 epidemic. 疫症爆發初期，市面的搓手液供應不足，浸大師生因而組成義工隊伍，向長者及基層家庭贈送由化學系製作的 酒精 搓手液 ，與社會上的弱勢社區同行抗疫。
