17 Jockey Club Campus of Creativity 賽馬會創意校園 The new Campus will be home of the Jockey Club Creative Hub, a towering iconof creativity education inHongKong and the region. Apart fromproviding teaching, learning and research space, it will house HKBU’s Department of Music and the Creative Media and Practice Cluster. The Hub will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for creative disciplines. A prominent facility is the Jockey Club White Box Experimental Space, an immersive space for scientific and artistic research, which is the first of its kind in Asia. Village CARE, an icon of new living-learning communities, will provide 1,726 hostel places for students of different nationalities and academic backgrounds. With the aim of becoming a powerhouse of talent in creativity, Village CARE will adopt a new model of residential education that seamlessly integrates teaching, learning and student residential space. 新校園內的「賽馬會點子坊」將會是香港以至 區內創意教育的標誌,除了提供教學及研究空 間,浸大的音樂系和創意媒體研究領域亦將進 駐於此。當中的先進設施包括亞洲首個可用作 科學及藝術研究的沉浸式空間—「賽馬會白盒 實驗空間」。  「 CARE 舍堂村」將會建構一個全新的「住宿— 學習社群」,為 1,726 名來自不同國家、修讀 不同學科的學生提供宿位,並推行嶄新的舍 堂教育,把教與學和學生居住空間無縫結 合,激發學生創意。 “  The new Campus opens a new chapter in HKBU’s history, and puts HKBU on the world map of higher education in creativity. 新校園為浸大歷史揭開新一頁,並鞏固我們在創意教育範疇的國際地位。 ” Professor Roland T.
