22 University’s Recent Developments 大學最新發展 Quality Teaching and Learning 優質教與學  Foreseeing the challenges that graduating students will encounter during the economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, HKBU rolled out Project SEED to enhance student’s employability by collaborating with the HKBU community. The HKBU SEED Fund has also been established to provide emergency relief for students and to support the University in launching other worthy projects. 新冠肺炎疫情嚴重打擊經濟，畢業生的就業前景面臨重大挑 戰。大學因而推出「 SEED 計劃」，與浸大社群攜手提升學生的 就業能力；並設有「學生種子基金」，資助受疫情影響而面對 財政困難的學生，以及支持大學推出其他有意義的項目。  The Academic Integrity and Ethics-Augmented Reality team led by Dr. Eva Wong, Director of HKBU’s Centre for Holistic Teaching and Learning, received the University Grants CommitteeTeaching Award 2020. The team introduced a unique pedagogy that uses augmented reality to present case-based scenarios concerning academic integrity and ethics. Since 2014, a total of 12“Trails of Integrity and Ethics”have been established. 由浸大全人教育教與學中心總監王周綺華博士領導的團隊， 獲大學教育資助委員會頒發 2020 年度傑出教學獎。團隊利用 增強現實技術，以情境案例模式展現抽象的學術誠信與道德 議題，自 2014 年起已推出 12 條「誠信有路」虛擬學習徑。  Professor Alexander Wai Ping-kong was appointed as President and Vice-Chancellor by the Council of HKBU in 2020. His appointment takes effect from 1 February 2021 for a term of five years. Professor Wai is an expert in the field of optical fibre communications. He is also an eminent leader in Hong Kong’s higher education sector. During his 24-year service at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he had been Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Associate Vice-President, Vice President (Research Development), and Deputy President and Provost. 浸大校董會任命衞炳江教授為浸大校長，任期五年，由 2021 年 2 月 1 日生效。衞教授是光纖通訊領域的專家，也是 香港高等教育界的傑出領袖，曾服務香港理工大學 24 年， 擔任工程學院院長、協理副校長、副校長（科研發展）、  常務及學務副校長等職務。  The University constantly collaborates with industry partners and renowned universities to enhance its research environment. In 2020, HKBU signed an agreement with Shanghai University (SHU) to strengthen exchange and collaboration in the fields of scientific research and training of research talent. Three online workshops were then co-organised by HKBU and SHU, attracting nearly 1,000 participants. 浸大透過與業界及知名大學合作，提升研究環境。 2020 年， 大學與上海大學簽署協議，加強雙方在科研和培養人才方面 的交流合作；並舉辦了三個網上工作坊，吸引近千名師生  參加。
