President’s Message 校長獻辭 8 The fundamentals of our University are also unchanged. They are the key drivers of our institutional mission: world-class teaching and learning, research excellence, knowledge transfer and community services, and capacity building in terms of human capital and campus facilities. These are set out in our Institutional Strategic Plan 2018-2028. The Institutional Strategic Plan has put our University on a clear trajectory to world-class excellence. The solid foundation that it has laid and the unstoppable momentum it has fired up are starting to bear fruit. Within months and for years to come you will hear from us about the exciting strides we are making in the research clusters of Health and Drug Discovery, Data Analytics and AI, and Creative Media. Under our Talent100 initiative, more than 60 top academic colleagues have already joined us from different parts of the world. Our target will be fully achieved within a year, turning us into a global talent pool. With the generous support from several staunch supporters, our Campus of Creativity project is progressing well and is on target for completion in 2023. It will double our number of student hostel places and add a state-of-the-art creative hub and learning space, thereby creating a vibrant environment where residents can mingle and interact, as well as facilitating the cross-fertilisation of ideas among students and scholars from a variety of disciplines. 另一項不變是浸大已確立的發展方向和使命。 大學正上下一心,實現「策略發展計劃 2018- 2028 」確立的使命:包括世界級的教與學,  卓越研究、知識轉移與社會服務,以及增強人 才實力,增加校園的先進設施。  「策略發展計劃」訂立了清晰的發展路向,讓 浸大穩步朝着世界級卓越大學的目標進發,各 項計劃已推行得如火如荼,並漸見成果,三大 重點研究領域包括健康與藥物研發、數據分析 和人工智能及創意媒體,短期內會初見亮麗的  成績。  「人才 100 」計劃實施以來,已有逾 60 位來自世 界各地的頂尖學術人員加盟,招募 100 位人才的 目標會於一年內達成,令浸大成為世界級人才 匯聚之地。 厚蒙多位支持者慷慨襄助,大學得以興建嶄新 的「創意校園」,而計劃亦進展理想,可如期於 2023 年落成,學生宿位將可增加一倍,並為浸 大校園新增一個設施先進的創意校園和學習空 間。屆時,浸大師生便能在一個朝氣勃勃、活 力澎湃的環境中互動與交流,激發創意,促進 跨範疇、跨學科的協作。
