University’s Recent Developments 大學最新發展 20 A delegation from HKBU won four awards at the 47th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva. The “Non- invasive, urine-based prostate cancer detection kit” invented by Professor Gary Wong and an HKBU spin-off company won the Gold Medal with the Congratulations of Jury and the Thailand Award for the Best International Invention. Mr. Andrea Ingrassia, Lecturer of the Academy of Visual Arts, won a Gold Medal with his "OH Furniture Collection" and a Silver Medal with his "OHO Jewellery Collection". 浸大的團隊於第 47 屆日內瓦國際發明展上取得四個獎項。黃 嘉良教授與浸大初創企業發明的「前列腺癌無創尿液檢測試 劑盒」獲「評判嘉許特別金獎」和「泰國國家研究局國際最佳 發明特別大獎」；視覺藝術院講師 Andrea Ingrassia 先生的「 OH 家具組合」及「 OHO 首飾組合」則分別獲得金獎及銀獎。 Outstanding Achievements 傑出成就 Amongst more than 450 universities from 76 countries, HKBU ranked 60th in the Times Higher Education’s World University Impact Rankings 2019 that assesses the social and economic impact of world universities based on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. The Rankings are the world’s first global attempt to document evidence of universities’ impact on society, rather than just their research and teaching performance. 浸大於英國泰晤士高等教育主辦的首項世界大學影響力排名 中名列 60 位。是項排名根據了聯合國可持續發展目標來評審 大學的社會和經濟影響力，共有 450 所來自 76 個國家的大學 參與。 At the 38th Hong Kong Film Awards, alumnus Felix Chong of the School of Communication snatched seven prizes with his work Project Gutenberg (Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Film Editing, Best Art Direction, and Best Costume & Make Up Design), while alumna Oliver Chan of the Academy of Film was named Best New Director for her film Still Human , which also bagged the awards of Best Actor and Best New Performer. 傳理學院校友莊文強先生編劇和執導的《無雙》於第 38 屆香港電影金像獎勇奪最佳電影、最佳導演、最佳編劇、最佳攝 影、最佳剪接、最佳美術指導和最佳服裝造型設計共七項殊榮；電影學院校友陳小娟小姐自編自導的《淪落人》則獲得新晉 導演、最佳男主角和最佳新演員三個獎項。
