Dr. Eugene Birman of the Department of Music has been named a recipient of one of the world’s most prestigious academic prizes, the John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship, for 2018. He is the only local scholar to earn this prestigious honour. Founded in 1868, RHS is the foremost society in the UK. 歷史系副教授黃文江博士獲英國皇家歷史學會頒授會士 銜，以表揚他對歷史研究的卓越貢獻。他是唯一一位香港 本地學者獲此榮銜。皇家歷史學會成立於 1868 年，是英國 最重要的歷史學家團體之一。 Physical Education and Recreation Management student Daniel Chan clinched a gold medal in the men’s singles at the Australia Para-Badminton International 2018.
