With The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust’s support, "Jockey Club BIGMAP" (Brain Invigoration and Gross Motor Activation Programme) was offered by the Dr. Stephen Hui Research Centre for Physical Recreation and Wellness to local non-government organisations. Led by Professor Chow Bik Chu and Professor Frank Fu, Director and Honorary Director of the Centre, the programme aimed to prevent dementia by enhancing the cognitive function and the physical fitness of older adults through games, activities and talks. 許士芬博士體康研究中心獲香港賽馬會慈善信託基金支 持,推行「賽馬會活腦健體計劃」。計劃由研究中心總監 周碧珠教授及榮譽總監傳浩堅教授領導,透過遊戲、活動 及講座,全面提升長者的認知功能及體能,以預防認知 障礙。 Student Cheung Sai Ho, Master of Science in Advanced Information Systems and one of the Top 10 Regeneration Warriors in 2013-14, has developed voice-control computer software for severely disabled people, including himself. The software, known as “Cerebral Palsy to Joy (CP2Joy)”, is the first human-computer interface in Hong Kong designed for severely disabled people to use the internet on their own, thereby reducing the digital divide. 曾於 2013-14 年獲得「再生勇士」獎的浸大高級信息系統理 學碩士生張世豪開發了全港首套協助肢體殘障人士的聲控 軟件「 CP2Joy 」,讓他們可以自主地使用電腦及互聯網,縮 減他們與社會之間的數碼鴻溝。 The Department of Marketing was awarded a grant from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust to run the three-year “Jockey Club Responsible Consumption Programme”. Meanwhile, it launched the unique and pioneering Campus Environmental Sustainability Index to assess its sustainability performance.
