The School of Business received re-accreditation from the UK’s Association of MBAs for its Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Business Management (MScBM) programmes. The MScBM programme won a world top 100 ranking in the Financial Times Masters in Management list for 2018, which is a first for Hong Kong. 工商管理學院獲英國工商管理碩士協會再度頒發認證，確 認其工商管理碩士和商業管理理學碩士課程的質素達國 際最高水平，而後者更是香港首個獲《金融時報》評選為 2018 年全球百大最佳的管理碩士課程。 The School of Communication has launched state-of- the-art teaching and research facilities including Asia’s first Dolby Atmos sound studio, an Artificial Intelligence Media Research Laboratory and a Virtual Reality Station. These sophisticated facilities equip students with the latest media technology, helping teachers and students pursue breakthroughs and strive for excellence. 傳理學院引入多項嶄新的教研設施，包括亞洲首個杜比全 景聲製作室、人工智能與媒體研究實驗室、虛擬實境工作 室等，協助學生掌握最新媒體科技，並推動教研人員及學 生繼續追求突破，力臻卓越。 The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp organised by the Knowledge Transfer Office encourages immersive learning for new venture creation for students from HKBU as well as other local and overseas universities through interactive discussions, workshops and games. Some participants also joined the Bootcamp and the Startup Semester Programme organised by the University of California, Berkeley, in the US. 為了促進本地與海外大學生對創業的認識，知識轉移處舉 辦了創業體驗營，透過互動討論、工作坊、遊戲等方式鼓 勵學生交流創新的商業意念。部分參與者更參加由美國柏 克萊加州大學舉辦的柏克萊創業體驗營及初創訓練課程。 In 2017-18, the University was blessed with over 1,900 scholarships and 220 bursaries amounting to more than HK$46 million. These scholarships and bursaries not only recognise students’ hard work, but also enable those from families with financial constraints to study at HKBU, to participate in outside-of-classroom learning activities, and to join exchange programmes and internships, thereby broadening their horizons. 2017-18 學年，大學成立了逾 1,900 個獎學金及 220 個助 學金，資助金額達港幣 4,600 萬元，不但獎勵成績優異的 學生，而且襄助家庭收入不高的學生在浸大繼續升學、 參與課堂以外的學習活動，甚至遠赴海外交流或實習， 擴闊視野。 Quality Teaching and Learning 優質教與學 17 University’s Recent Developments 大學最新發展
