15 Three Strategic Priorities 三大優先策略 Capacity 增強實力 The third priority is capacity. To sustain academic and research excellence, the University will continue investing in its people, governance and facilities through initiatives such as the Talent100 Initiative, the construction of the hostel and academic building complex and the redevelopment of the Ho Sin Hang Campus. 第三個策略是建立雄厚實力。浸大將持續在人才、管治和設施 上作出適切投資，例如推動「人才 100 」計劃、興建新的學生宿 舍及教學綜合大樓、重建善衡校園，以維持學術卓越。 Best Student Experience 最佳學習體驗 HKBU aspires to deliver the best student experience in Hong Kong by emphasising integrity, creativity, communication, employability and commitment to the common good of humankind. This is to be achieved by enhancing the service and experiential learning opportunities for our students. 浸大致力為學生提供最佳學習體驗，着重誠信、創意、溝 通、就業能力和貢獻世界的精神。為此，大學將為學生增加 着重服務和體驗的學習機會。 1 3 Research Excellence 卓越研究 Research excellence at HKBU will extend the frontiers of knowledge and tackle global challenges. The University will produce world- class research in selected clusters and to solve problems for and with society using close connections between HKBU researchers and external stakeholders. The selected clusters are: • Creative Media and Practice: This covers areas in which HKBU has gained a reputation as pioneers and leaders, such as film, graphics, literary arts, music and visual/media arts. • Health and Drug Discovery: HKBU has contributed to the solution of global problems, most notably in the field of healthcare, for example Chinese medicine, chemistry, microbiology, ageing and physical education. • Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in X: HKBU excels in these areas where X denotes applications such as Data-journalism, Data-healthcare and Data-literature to cope with the unprecedented developments in big data, the internet and artificial intelligence. 第二項策略是促進卓越研究。浸大致力在重點領域創造世界級研究，通過浸大研究人員與外界持份者的緊密連繫，與大 眾攜手解決社會問題。大學將聚焦的三個重點領域包括： • 創意媒體： 電影、圖像、文學藝術、音樂、視覺／媒體藝術等浸大一貫優秀的教研領域。 • 健康與藥物研發： 中醫藥、化學、微生物學、老年化、運動等可促進環球健康的領域。 • 數據分析與人工智能： 針對特定的範疇如數據新聞學、數據健康護理和數碼文學等，以配合大數據、互聯網和人工 智能的急速發展。 2 15 Strategic Plan 2018-2028 策略發展計劃2018-2028
