Annual Report 2017-18

The School of Communication celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2018. Over the past five decades, the School has nurtured more than 12,000 journalism, communication and film professionals from Hong Kong and beyond. We are looking into expanding the global footprint of our teaching and learning activities in the years ahead. With the generous support from the HKBU Foundation, the School has organised the Pulitzer Prize Winners Workshop, the Senior Reporters-in-Residence Scheme, and the first Global University Film Awards, all of which have provided diverse experience for our students and faculty. 2018 年是傳理學院成立 50 周年。過去半個世紀， 學院為本地及海外培養超過 12,000 名新聞傳播與 影視人才。放眼未來，我們正着手把學院的教學 活動伸展至全球各地。端賴香港浸會大學基金的 慷慨襄助，我們舉辦了「普立茲新聞獎得主工作 坊」、資深記者駐校計劃，以及第一屆「全球大學 電影獎」，為學院師生帶來多元化的體驗。 Professor HuangYu Associate Vice-President (Mainland) and Dean of Communication, HKBU 黃煜教授 香港浸會大學協理副校長（內地事務）兼傳理學院院長 I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Elizabeth Law, MH, for her generosity, giving me the opportunity to study in Hong Kong.
