21 University’s Recent Developments 大學最新發展 Twenty student delegates from the student interest club Enactus took part in the Enactus China Regional Competition. The team was crowned the top team in the Hong Kong Region for the second consecutive year with two creative business plans. 創行學會 20 名同學組隊出戰「創行世界杯中國站社會創新 大賽－區域賽」，憑兩個富創意的商業項目，連續第二年 勇奪香港賽區一等獎。 Physical Education student Joey Chan has made Hong Kong squash history. She won a bronze medal, Hong Kong’s best ever result, in the Women’s World Team Squash Championships held in France, and then a silver medal in the squash World Games in Poland, the historic first medal ever won by a Hong Kong squash player in that event. 體育系陳浩鈴同學先在法國舉行的世界女子壁球團體賽取得銅牌，追平香港 的歷史佳績，及後在波蘭舉行的世界運動會（世運會）勇奪銀牌，亦是香港壁 球運動員取得的第一面世運會獎牌，為香港壁球締造歷史。 At the Fresh Trend 2017 Art Graduates Joint Exhibition, three fresh graduates of the Academy of Visual Arts (AVA) clinched the Fresh Trend Art Award and two of the biggest titles, the Affordable Art Fair Art Award and the Karin Weber Art Award. This is the second consecutive year that AVA students have won these two prominent titles. HKBU’s AVA was ranked among the top 100 art and design schools in the QS World University Rankings in 2017. 視覺藝術院三位應屆畢業生於「出爐 2017 藝術畢業生聯展」中，分別奪 得「出爐藝術新秀獎」，以及全場唯一的「 Affordable Art Fair 藝術獎」和「凱 倫偉伯畫廊藝術獎」，是浸大人連續兩年囊括兩個全場藝術大獎。浸大的視 覺藝術學院獲《 QS 世界大學排名 2017 》選為全球百大藝術及設計學院。 With their innovative project “HomeTaste”, an online sharing platform that enables travellers to Hong Kong to connect with local host families and experience authentic home dining, four HKBU students together with three members from other local universities won the Special Gold Medal at the Hong Kong Young Genius Award, and then the Special Gold Medal as well as the Special Award at the 31 st World Genius Convention in Tokyo. 浸大四位同學與三位來自其他本地大學的學生組成的團隊， 開發了讓到港旅客聯繫本地家庭以品嚐地道家常菜式的網上 平台「 HomeTaste 」，先於「香港青少年天才大會」贏得「特別 金獎」，再代表香港參加在日本東京舉行的「第 31 屆世界天才 會議」，奪得「特別金獎」和「優秀創新項目獎」兩大殊榮。
