As a member of an ethnic minority in Hong Kong, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to receive this scholarship. It gives an opportunity for minorities like me to study at a university where individuals are encouraged to develop and showcase their all-round abilities. With this scholarship, I will do my utmost to inspire other ethnic minority people and encourage them to speak out in society. 身為香港少數族裔的一分子，我很榮幸得到這個獎學金，讓我有機會 到大學進修，發揮潛能，一展所長。受到這獎學金的鼓舞，我一定會 竭盡所能，感染身邊的少數族裔人士，鼓勵大家勇於在社會上發聲。 Norielei Nadres MALABUNGA (English Language and Literature) Awardee of the Tsim Sha Tsui District Kai Fong Welfare Association Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding South and South East Asian Ethnic Minority 2017/18 Norielei Nadres MALABUNGA （英國語言文學） 尖沙咀街坊福利會南亞及東南亞少數族裔傑出學生入學獎學金 2017/18 得主 Osteosarcoma is a common primary malignant bone tumour afflicting children and adolescents. Thanks to Mr. Lau Sau Fai’s generous support, our team has succeeded in developing an innovative targeted delivery system for treating the disease. In the experiments using a mouse model, the malignancy is effectively inhibited. We will proceed to apply this finding to tumour treatment.
